Our client is looking to appoint a AAT – Part Qualified Finance Assistant or a Finance Assistant considering starting AAT Studies.

Based in Kearsley, the location is not accessible by public transport; on-site parking is available.

What You Can Expect as the Finance Assistant

• Annual salary of approximately £24,000 – £26,000, depending on experience and qualifications
• Early finish on Fridays
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days
• Annual appraisal and review
• Pension scheme
• On-site car parking

The Role of the Finance Assistant

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be part of a small, hands-on, and friendly team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Using Word, Excel, and Sage Line 50 daily
• Processing and posting sales and purchase invoices
• Reconciliation of supplier statements and purchase ledger for month-end
• Preparing bank reconciliations using Sage
• Posting payments and receipts
• Preparing VAT returns
• Assisting with payroll

Our client is willing to train and develop the right candidate. However, a working knowledge of Sage Line 50 is essential to be considered for this role.
