With our Client, we are looking to appoint an AAT – Part Qualified Finance Assistant OR a Finance Assistant who is considering starting their AAT Studies.

Based in Kearsley, our Client is not accessible by Public Transport – they do have on-site car parking.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AS THE FINANCE ASSISTANT:

• Annual Salary of c £24,000 – £26,000, depending on depth of experience and level of Qualification
• Early finish on a Friday
• 20 Days Holiday PLUS Bank Holidays – rising to 25 days
• Annual Appraisal and Review

THE ROLE OF THE FINANCE ASSISTANT:

Will report to the Finance Manager and will work as part of a small – hands-on and likeable team!

You will be responsible for:

• Daily use of Word / Excel and Sage Line 50
• Processing and Posting Sales and Purchase Invoices
• Reconciling Supplier Statements and Purchase Ledger for Month End
• Using Sage to prepare Bank Reconciliations
• Posting Payments and Receipts
• Preparing VAT Returns
• Assisting with Payroll

Our Client is willing to train and develop the right Candidate. However, to be considered for the Finance Assistant role, you MUST have a working knowledge of Sage Line 50.
