Job summary

Moore Kingston Smith is offering an Accountancy Apprenticeship (AAT) in London for a two-year training contract. You will study towards Level 3 and Level 4 AAT while gaining hands-on experience across advisory and accounting services for owner-managed businesses.

Expect comprehensive support, cardiovascular learning blocks, and regular client exposure to build a strong foundation in accounting and business advisory.

Qualifications

• UCAS points: 112 points from three A-Levels or equivalent (entry requirement).
• No university degree required for application.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly management accounts for owner-managed businesses, including journals and reviewing results.
• Handle bookkeeping queries using cloud software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
• Support process improvement, including system setups and streamlining finance processes.
• Help clients improve real-time insight through better use of finance systems.
• Prepare client dashboards, KPIs and performance metrics; analyze data in Excel.
• Assist with cash flow forecasts, budgets and simple financial models.
• Learn to interpret financial information and communicate clearly to business owners.
• Contribute to client meetings with schedules, slides or notes; respond to queries.
• Coordinate with HR, tax, legal and banking specialists on client issues.
