Job summary

Reed Practice is partnering with a close-knit, long-established Essex practice to recruit an AAT qualified Accountant. You will prepare year end accounts, management accounts and personal tax returns, using Xero. You will work with SMEs and mid-sized entities; enjoy a collaborative environment and supportive leadership.

This role offers a chance to develop accounting skills within a respected firm and progress as you gain experience in varied client work.

Qualifications

• AAT-qualified accountant sought for established Essex practice.
• Experience with year end accounts, management accounts and personal tax returns preferred.
• Proactive learner with good communication and client liaison skills.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, FreeAgent, Dext and QuickBooks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year end accounts and management accounts.
• Complete personal tax returns for clients.
• Utilise accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks in daily work.
• Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
