Job summary

Moog Aircraft Group in Wolverhampton is seeking experienced Assembly & Test Technicians for on-site roles, with both permanent and fixed-term opportunities. The team designs high-precision, bespoke actuators and subcomponents for aerospace applications, following close tolerances and strict quality standards.

Key duties include assembly and test, inspection using precision measuring tools, reading engineering drawings, and conducting quality audits.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained (or equivalent level of qualification) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in engineering/manufacturing, ideally aerospace or related.
• Good knowledge of assembly and test manufacturing and following procedures.
• Experience with an aerospace quality system is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test flight-critical actuators and subcomponents with high precision.
• Use micrometers, vernier calipers and height gauges to inspect parts.
• Work from engineering drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Perform quality audits and own aspects of the A&T process, including release to service of repaired actuators.
