Job Description:

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in a brand new nursing home which is a recently opened new-build in Liverpool, Merseyside. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

This nursing home offers nursing, dementia, residential care, mental healthcare, and specialist learning disability services to its residents.

To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

As a Senior Support Worker, your key duties include:

  • Recognising and facilitating the daily needs of residents
  • Conducting formal supervisions and appraisals
  • Contributing to care planning and supporting other workers
  • Promoting services when dealing with relatives, prospective residents, and inquiries
  • Updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
  • Making and reporting realistic assessments of residents to ensure continuity of care
  • Administering medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures

The following skills and experience are preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Proven experience working in a care setting
  • Good team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Genuine desire to care for others

The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £13.25 per hour, totaling approximately £24,804 annually. This is a permanent full-time role for 36 hours a week, working day shifts. Benefits include:
