Marchant Recruitment is representing a prestigious independent school in Kensington seeking an outstanding Mathematics Teacher to cover KS4 and KS5, including A-Level Pure, Mechanics, and Statistics with possible Further Mathematics for qualified candidates.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position starting January 2027 (or ASAP) in a school with small class sizes, excellent resources, and strong Oxbridge progression. A first-class or 2:1 degree in Mathematics and QTS are required.

Qualifications

• A strong academic background in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative field from a leading university.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant teaching experience within the independent sector.
• Proven track record of delivering high grades (A*-B).
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Deliver inspiring, high-level Mathematics teaching across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Pure, Mechanics, Statistics; Further Mathematics for qualified candidates).
• Prepare sixth-form students for top university entrance exams (STEP, MAT, Oxbridge interviews).
• Stretch and challenge high-attaining pupils through Olympiad competitions and advanced problem-solving societies.
• Contribute to the broader co-curricular and pastoral life of the school.
