Job summary

The Harrodian School, a prestigious independent co-educational day school in Barnes, London, seeks a well-qualified Economics teacher to join our high-performing department on a full-time basis from late 2026 or early 2027. You will teach the A Level Economics syllabus to both Lower and Upper Sixth and contribute to the department’s international-standard results.

Qualifications

• Candidate must demonstrate ability to teach the full Economics syllabus to both Lower and Upper Sixth.
• Energetic and engaging classroom presence.
• Willingness to assist in school trips and events and to work as part of a team.
• ECTs considered with degree and relevant experience.
• Experience outside teaching is advantageous.
• Ability to plan, teach and assess within the department with high standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach Economics up to A Level (AQA specification) for Lower and Upper Sixth.
• Contribute to resource development and use of iPads in lessons.
• Lead or assist in school trips, talks and competitions related to Economics.
