Job summary

Nottingham College is seeking a Curriculum Manager for A levels – English & Humanities at the High Pavement Campus. You will lead a large curriculum team, drive teaching quality and assessment, and work with the Head of Faculty to secure excellent outcomes for diverse students.

The role includes a 9-hour weekly teaching commitment, staff development, and close collaboration with the Head of Faculty and Assistant Principal to deliver engaging, high-quality learning across English and Humanities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of teaching and working within an A-level environment, specifically in English and Humanities subjects.
• Experience of curriculum and people management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
• Support the development of English and Humanities.
• Contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
• Support and develop teaching staff.
• Use attendance, achievement and retention data to drive improvement.
