Job summary

The school, rated Good by Ofsted, serves around 1,900 pupils with a sixth form of about 240. You will plan and deliver engaging A Level lessons and track progress while contributing to the wider sixth form community.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Business and/or Economics.
• Experience teaching at A Level, or keen to specialise in post-16.
• Able to motivate older students and help them achieve their potential.
• Good organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging A Level Business and Economics lessons.
• Prepare students for exams and support them with university and career applications.
• Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop the post-16 curriculum.
• Contribute to the wider life of the sixth form.
