In this role as an A-Level Biology Teacher, the successful candidate will be required to provide superb AS & A-Level learning experiences to KS5 students utilising the colleges modern and broad curriculum. The role is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers, with an impetus being placed on subject knowledge and the ability to build a rapport with students.

A-Level Biology Teacher – Role Information:

• Located in Birmingham (B12)
• Permanent role – Beginning September 2025
• Paid £32,500 – £48,500 per annum with TLR available
• Teaching AS & A-Level Biology to KS5 students
• Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers

A-Level Biology Teacher – Applicant Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status – Secondary or Post 16 education
• Minimum 2:2 UK Science or Sports Science based degree
• Good or better prior teaching observations
• Strong academic background
• Ability to build rapport with young people
