Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a committed Occupational Therapist to work at an exceptional hospital in Bromley, Kent. You will be employed by one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

This private hospital specializes in addiction treatment, general psychiatric conditions, and has an accredited eating disorder service.

Requirements: Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working across rehabilitation and recovery wards with support from two OTAs
  • Conducting assessments and interventions, both 1-to-1 and group sessions
  • Supporting patients in engaging with therapeutic programs alongside psychology and nursing colleagues
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to identify patients’ occupational needs
  • Monitoring patient wellbeing and referring any concerns to senior staff
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience in inpatient mental health services or similar roles
  • Line management or supervision experience (desirable)
  • Understanding of meaningful occupation in mental health
  • Compassion, enthusiasm, creativity, and proactivity

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £28,407 – £34,581 per annum DOE, working 37.5 hours a week in a permanent role. Benefits include:
