Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Ward Manager in a hospital setting in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. The hospital provides specialist inpatient services for adult and older male patients with severe mental health conditions, including neuro-cognitive and dementia care for males with challenging behaviors.

**Requirements:** Must be a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC Pin.

The Deputy Ward Manager will assist in managing and supervising the ward, leading a team of staff, implementing best practices, supporting service changes, and overseeing clinical direction.

Preferred skills include experience in supervision, clinical prioritization, excellent communication, and leadership abilities, especially in managing medical and nursing staff communication.
