Exclusive opportunity - HR Officer - Antrim

I am delighted to be exclusively partnering with our private sector client who is looking a proactive and well-rounded HR Officer to join their dynamic team, initially on a 12 month FTC basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional with a solid generalist background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about people, process, and continuous improvement.

The main responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, screening candidates, and facilitating interviews.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction for new starters to ensure a smooth integration into the business.
  • Provide first-line advice and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle ER matters such as grievances, absence management, and basic disciplinary issues with appropriate documentation.
  • Support the delivery of HR initiatives and projects across the employee lifecycle.
  • Maintain and update employee records in line with GDPR and internal policy.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate:

  • HR related third level qualification.
  • CIPD Level 3 (minimum).
  • Proven HR experience with a focus on recruitment and exposure to employee relations issues.
  • Solid understanding and practical experience of Northern Ireland employment legislation.
