Junior Production Supervisor
Dungannon

MCS are proud to be working with a well-established, family-run food manufacturer based in Dungannon to recruit a Junior Production Supervisor to join their growing team due to growth in the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous supervisory or team-leading experience in a food production environment who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and close-knit business.

The Role

As Junior Production Supervisor, you will report into the production manager & technical manager. You will support the day-to-day running of the production area, ensuring targets are met efficiently and in line with food safety and quality standards. You will play a key role in motivating the team, monitoring output, and maintaining compliance with hygiene and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support production operatives
  • Ensure production targets and KPIs are met
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and product quality
  • Monitor stock levels of raw materials and packaging
  • Escalate any issues to senior management and assist with process improvements
  • Support the training and development of new and existing team members

About You

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a food manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with a positive attitude
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
