Job Description:

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in Cockermouth, Cumbria. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

This purpose-built care home provides a friendly environment for older people requiring general or specialist dementia nursing care.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key duties include:

• Assessing residents' needs and prioritizing care
• Administering medication and treatments within NMC guidelines and company policies
• Maintaining care plans in collaboration with residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals
• Reporting ill-health and requesting GP/professional visits as necessary

Preferred skills and experience:

• Experience in elderly care (desirable but not essential)
• Caring, compassionate, with an excellent clinical record
• Passionate about delivering outstanding care
• Excellent organization and leadership skills
• Flexible, professional, and committed
• Quality-driven and eager to improve services

Salary and benefits:

• £20.00 per hour, up to £45,760 annually
