Job summary

Qualifications

• MBBS with GMC registration and eligible for FRCOphth/MRCOphth or equivalent.
• Experience as senior registrar or equivalent in ophthalmology.
• Interest in clinical research and teaching.
• Willingness to participate in varied subspecialty clinics and urgent care.

Responsibilities

• Manage urgent ophthalmology cases in A&E and City Road sessions.
• Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to teaching.
• Provide sessions in sub-specialty clinics and General Ophthalmology as needed.
• Engage in research and audit activities and maintain GMC revalidation portfolio.
