Qualifications

  • 6 months NMC registration.
  • 6 months experience in A&E, able to provide 2 references for verification.
  • Up-to-date CV covering 10 years of work history and skills.
  • Full EPP clearance of immunisations.
  • Right to work within the UK – documented proof required.

Responsibilities

  • Triaging patients upon arrival and prioritizing care based on severity.
  • Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs and changes in patients’ conditions.
  • Assisting the medical team with diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
  • Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed.
  • Initiating and maintaining intravenous access for patients.
  • Assisting with minor procedures, wound care, and patient immobilization.

As an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse, you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team, providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision-making skills, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.

Pulse Nursing offers a variety of shift patterns and flexible shifts across day and night hours in friendly and welcoming teams around the Poole & Bournemouth area.

Rates for the A&E Nurse position are between £25.00 to £35.62 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on severity.
  • Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
  • Assisting the medical team with diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
  • Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.
  • Initiating and maintaining intravenous access for patients requiring fluids and medications.
  • Assisting with minor procedures, wound care, and patient immobilization.

A&E Nurse Role Requirements:

  • 6 months NMC registration.
