Job Description:

Pulse Nursing is delighted to offer a variety of shifts within A&E Departments in the Hull area for A&E Nurses.

Our A&E Nurses will deliver treatments to patients with injuries and serious illnesses in a busy and demanding A&E setting. No shift in this department is ever the same; you will face many different case types while providing invaluable service to individuals in critical need.

Pulse Nursing offers flexible shift patterns across day and night hours in friendly and welcoming teams.

The rates for A&E Nurses range from £23.43 to £39.57 per hour.

A&E Nurse responsibilities include:
  • Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on severity.
  • Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, including life-saving measures when necessary.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients’ conditions.
  • Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
  • Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed.
  • Initiating and maintaining intravenous access for fluids and medications.
  • Assisting with minor procedures, wound care, and patient immobilization.
A&E Nurse role requirements:
  • NMC registration for at least 6 months.
  • 6 months recent experience in A&E within the last 12 months, with two references covering the last 3 years.
  • Compliance with framework requirements, including DBS, Occupational Health, full EPP, and an updated CV.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK.
