Pulse Nursing is offering a variety of shifts within A&E Departments in the Eastbourne area for A&E Nurses.

Our A&E Nurses will deliver treatments to patients with injuries and serious illnesses in a busy and demanding A&E setting. Each shift presents different case types, providing an invaluable service to individuals in critical need.

We offer flexible shift patterns across day and night hours in friendly teams.

Rates for A&E Nurses range from £22.00 to £41.83 per hour.

A&E Nurse Responsibilities:

• Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on severity.
• Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, including life-saving measures.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and condition changes.
• Assisting with diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
• Administering medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Initiating and maintaining IV access for fluids and medications.
• Assisting with minor procedures, wound care, and immobilization.

A&E Nurse Role Requirements:

• NMC Registration (minimum 6 months).
• At least 6 months of recent A&E experience within the last 12 months, with two clinical references covering the last 3 years.
• Compliance with DBS, Occupational Health, and full EPP requirements, including an updated CV.
• Legal right to work in the UK; proof required.
