Overview

A&E (Accident and Emergency) Nurse - London (Barts Health Trust)

Pulse Nursing are seeking professional, experienced A&E nurses to join our team. You will work in a fast-paced environment alongside other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients. This role offers flexibility to book shifts in advance, enabling you to plan ahead and manage your schedule. Barts Health Trust is one of Pulse Nursing's priority clients, with a variety of shifts available.

We are offering a range of shift patterns, including the option of full-time equivalent hours, paying between £19.72 - £31.00 per hour.

Location notes: London, Greater London, England.

Responsibilities
  • Perform initial patient examinations to assess needs
  • Apply dressings and administer medication for pain relief
  • Determine which department the patient should be referred to
  • Collaborate with paramedics and take over patient care as needed
  • Arrange admission to hospital when required
  • Work with doctors to keep patients and family members updated on test results or treatment recommendations
  • Maintain contact with laboratory personnel to report initial findings to A&E doctors
  • Take basic observations (pulse, blood pressure, oxygen saturation)
Additional Responsibilities
  • Complete all discharge paperwork and related administration
Requirements
  • NMC Registration
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a clinical setting
  • Meet framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, clinical references, and an updated CV
  • Right to work within the UK (proof required)
