Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking a Technical Manager A&D to drive technical excellence in product development. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective NPI solutions, ensuring concepts translate into manufacturable products and timely delivery.

This hybrid role involves coordination with global stakeholders and occasional international travel. You will mentor teams, set technical direction, and uphold engineering processes to support strategic growth

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, science, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Act as the technical authority for projects and ensure clear understanding of products and design intent.
Lead engineering activities across disciplines: mechanical, electrical, software, test, and development.
Provide technical direction to standardize, configure, and optimize designs for performance and cost.
Collaborate with Programme Management and Technology Group on strategy and challenges.
Review and approve system designs to meet requirements and document customer adoption.
Guide the A&D team through all development phases from concept to implementation.
Identify and manage resources including headcount, equipment, and software availability.
Coordinate with global stakeholders and support communication across Product Companies; occasional international travel.
