About the role

Are you looking for a career in education? ABC Teachers are offering a Trainee Cover Supervisor role in Secondary schools. All training is provided internally by ABC Teachers, on a full or part-time basis.

The desired candidate would work as a Cover Supervisor, providing vital support to teachers and pupils. This can be full or part-time depending on your circumstances.

The candidate will receive appropriate training and support for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Maintain discipline and manage behaviour in accordance with school policies.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups as required.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Have a warm and friendly nature to build positive relationships with pupils.

• Be willing to work in mainstream secondary school settings as a Cover Supervisor.
