Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy/Clinical Lead Nurse at an exceptional care home in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland. The role involves working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

The care home offers residential care for those needing assistance with daily tasks, nursing care for individuals with complex medical needs, and respite care for families needing a break.

Qualifications: Must be a qualified Registered Nurse with an active NMC Pin.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of nursing staff to ensure high standards of care.
  • Promoting independence and dignity for residents.
  • Supporting quality improvements in line with CQC guidelines.
  • Providing a safe and engaging environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Assisting the Home Manager with daily operations.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Team management and rostering experience.
  • Experience with quality and clinical governance, audits, and care planning.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and documentation management.
  • Medicine management experience in accordance with policies and legislation.
  • Mentoring and guiding others following the NMC Code.
  • A passion for delivering excellent care.

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £21.59 per hour (£42,661.84 annually), along with benefits such as free meals, personal development opportunities, pension scheme, a friendly environment, DBS check, uniform, and flexible working options.
