Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a committed CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to work in a leading mental health clinic that specializes in assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with eating disorders, especially where behavioral or emotional issues have led to severe dietary restrictions.

**Requirements:**

  • MRCPsychiatry or equivalent qualification
  • Full GMC registration

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide leadership and mentorship within a multidisciplinary team
  • Follow risk assessment and management protocols
  • Oversee patient treatment plans and liaise with the team
  • Conduct psychological assessments and diagnoses
  • Prescribe, monitor, and stabilize medication
  • Ensure continuity and effective communication across disciplines

**Preferred Skills and Experience:**

  • Recent experience with acute Psychiatry
  • Experience working with adults aged 18+
  • Approval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act
  • Strong leadership abilities within a multidisciplinary team
  • In-depth knowledge of Mental Health Legislation and risk management
