Job summary

A leading HVAC service provider in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate must have an NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant. Responsibilities include performing maintenance, diagnosing faults, and responding to service calls while delivering high customer service standards. The role offers a competitive pay rate of up to £20 per hour and comprehensive benefits, making it a fantastic opportunity for proactive engineers.

Qualifications

• F-Gas/EN 378 compliant.
• Hands-on experience with cold rooms, close control units, chilled water systems, and chillers.
• Experience in delivering effective solutions and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems.
• Carry out routine preventative maintenance.
• Participate in the 24hr call-out rota.
• Assist in site surveys, reports, and quotes for customers.

Skills

Proficient technical knowledge in refrigeration & electrical principles

Fault finding experience on a range of equipment

Good understanding of industry standards and compliance

Hands-on experience working with VRV systems

Positive and pro-active approach

Well-organised and effective communicator

High level of professionalism & customer service

Education
