A reputable refrigeration and air conditioning firm is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Engineer in Manchester. The role involves providing maintenance and service for a prestigious client base in various sectors. Ideal candidates will have an NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, hands-on experience with various systems, and a proactive approach. This position offers up to £21 per hour, door-to-door pay, and comprehensive benefits including enhanced holidays and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• You will be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant.
• Flexibility is required for varied work.
• Positive and pro-active approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and identify faults in equipment.
• Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance.
• Participate in a 24hr call out rota.
• Assist in site surveys and prepare reports.

Skills

Proficient technical knowledge in refrigeration & electrical principles

Hands-on experience with VRV systems

Fault finding experience on data centre cooling & water chillers

Good understanding of industry standards

Well-organised and effective communicator

High level of professionalism

Education

Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
