Job Description:

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in a brand new state of the art care home opened in Holt, Norfolk. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

The latest flagship nursing home in historic Holt embodies elegance and luxury living, offering superb facilities. We are proud to provide residential, dementia, respite, and nursing care in a beautiful and well-designed setting.

Minimum requirements: NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

As the Senior Support Worker, your key duties include:

  1. Recognize and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
  2. Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals.
  3. Contribute to care planning and support worker coaching.
  4. Promote services when dealing with relatives, prospective residents, and inquiries.
  5. Update and write care plans and resident documentation.
  6. Make and report realistic assessments of residents to ensure continuity of care.
  7. Administer medication to residents according to policies and procedures.

The following skills and experience are preferred:

  1. Genuine desire to care for others.
  2. Good team player.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Proven experience in a care setting.

The successful candidate will receive an excellent salary of £14.50 per hour, totaling approximately £27,144 per year. We have vacancies for both day and night shifts. Benefits include:
