Qualifications
- Experience as a Paramedic or Nurse in urgent care
- Autonomous practitioner with NHS experience
- Proficient in clinical telephone triage using decision-support systems
Responsibilities
- Monitor live 999 calls handled by Emergency Call Takers (ECTs)
- Provide clinical oversight to ensure safe and appropriate patient outcomes
- Make real-time, dynamic clinical assessments
- Apply evidence-based decision-making supported by advanced clinical software
- Communicate clinical information effectively with healthcare partners
- Contribute to achieving national ambulance standards and local performance targets
- Engage in monthly call audits and ongoing self-reflection
