A government agency is seeking a candidate in Canterbury to supervise offenders completing community service. This role includes conducting inductions, maintaining records, and ensuring health and safety procedures. Candidates must possess practical skills and a UK Manual Driving Licence, with a flexible working schedule including weekends.
This role is based in Canterbury, also covering Ramsgate and Ashford locations, with full and part-time options available. The role requires a flexible approach with start times from 7:00 AM and finish time of 16:45 PM, including weekend shifts.
A typical full-time 37-hour week will consist of 4 days at 9.25 hours per day and must include one weekend day. The successful candidate must hold a valid Manual driving licence.
This is an operational role directly supervising work groups of offenders serving a community sentence. The post holder will be responsible for all work site supervision tasks and will work with service users to ensure that all tasks are carried out to the best of their ability.
The successful candidate will have experience of practical skills, a UK Manual Driving Licence, and evidence of commitment to teamwork. They will also have effective inter-personal skills with the ability to supervise people constructively while maintaining authority.
