Creative Technologist

Location: London, UK
Length: 4 Months
Start Date: Asap until 17/10/2025
Rate: £ 52.88 p/h (Inside IR35)
Hours: Normal Business hours (Hybrid work schedule)

Overview of Role

Our client needs a Creative Technologist for our Marketing Operations team to develop front-end web prototypes supporting marketing pilots and tools. Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Angular is essential, along with experience with AI technologies. The role involves concepting, prototyping, execution, and presenting polished work to stakeholders.
You will lead complex technical and design efforts, driving outcomes across large projects or workstreams. You contribute deeply to UI component development and computational design, while mentoring junior team members and guiding design and technical direction. Recognized as a “go-to” expert in your area, you take full ownership of solutions, anticipate future challenges, and enhance team collaboration. Your work bridges engineering and user experience, improving how users connect with information, and you actively contribute to fostering a positive and effective workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Candidates should be self-starters who can translate insights into practical prototypes, iterating as needed

• Lead moderately to highly complex efforts, influencing key decision-makers who shape the future of the business area. Contribute to workstream or project scoping, guiding plans, priorities, and resources to meet short-term objectives without continual oversight
• Accountable for the outcomes of a large workstream or multi-faceted project by exploring, designing, maintaining, or enhancing complex UI components or design features. Lead a team on a large technical or design effort that impacts a major product or vertical. Identify, scope, design, implement, and make significant technical contributions that improve the larger team’s execution or collaboration.
• Use standard approaches to solve defined problems with multiple or ambiguous solutions. Address complex issues when needed. Implement effective and innovative solutions to defined user-facing problems, anticipating and addressing future issues.
• Build strong relationships within, and potentially outside, the team, providing support and guidance, while fostering collaboration and respect. Influence stakeholders across teams to align resources and direction. Communicate goals, progress, and roadblocks clearly to users, stakeholders, and team members. Participate and share knowledge within the business communities. Act as a cross-functional liaison to ensure engineering, design, and product goals meet both UX and non-UX user needs.
