Royal Mail Group is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Exmouth to sort and deliver letters and parcels within a route, building strong customer relationships. The role involves outdoor work in all weather, walking long distances, and working as part of a rotating schedule across weekdays and weekends.

You will be paid £13.68 per hour for 30 hours per week, with overtime available and a fixed-term contract of 9 months. Full training is provided, and a driving assessment is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Work outdoors in all weathers.
