Job Opportunity: Band 8a Clinical Psychologist

Pulse is seeking a dedicated Band 8a Clinical Psychologist to join our NHS client’s team in Bournemouth, Dorset. This full-time position is available immediately for a 3-month period.

The role involves working within a service providing inpatient care for young people with complex needs. There is an opportunity for funded training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and/or EMDR.

  • Family Therapist / Service Lead
  • Consultant Pediatrician
  • Specialist Dietician
  • Physical Activity Specialist

The team adopts a systemic biopsychosocial approach to care for children affected by excess weight in the community.

Requirements
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • HCPC registration
  • Proven experience in a CAMHS role
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Supervision experience
