Penguin Recruitment - Norwich - Graduate Pre-Planning Engineer

We are looking to recruit a graduate civil engineer who is highly motivated to undertake the role of a Pre-Planning Engineer to work in a diverse project environment for our client based in Norwich.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare reports (Transport Assessments, Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategy).
2. Review and analyse traffic counts.
3. Undertake junction assessments and drainage designs.
4. Run projects under the supervision of a Senior/Principal Engineer.
5. Produce calculations, sketches, and coordinate drawings and models.

Training on software will be provided (Microdrainage, Site 3D, AutoCAD, Junctions 9, and LinSig). Experience working in a 3-dimensional environment is preferred. Excellent IT skills are essential.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates should have a recognised qualification in Civil Engineering or an Engineering related field, ideally working towards or having an interest in working towards EngTech or IEng/CEng.
