Job summary

A retail company in York is hiring for a weekend position involving customer service and cash handling. You'll engage with customers and assist with product demonstrations. Ideal candidates will have some customer service experience but this is not essential. You must be available to work during the Christmas period. Training will be provided.

Overview

This is a weekend position (two 4-hour shifts) on Saturdays and Sundays. The position involves excellent customer service and cash handling. There is the opportunity to gain knowledge on a range of appliances and cookware (including air fryers, coffee machines, irons and blenders).

Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to boost store sales, while providing helpful product knowledge.
  • Operate the till independently.
  • Process product repairs and assist with in-store product demonstrations.
  • All training will be provided.
