Job summary

A recruitment service for construction projects is seeking 7 experienced Coded Welders for an immediate start in Birmingham. The role involves welding heavy structural steel for a bridge construction project, using methods 111, 121, and 136. Candidates must have a CSCS card or CCNSG, with advantageous certifications like Confined Space Entry and a safety-critical medical. Qualifications

• Prior experience in welding heavy structural steel.
• Possession of CSCS Card or CCNSG is mandatory.
• Confined Space Entry certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Position: 7 xCoded Welders - (111, 121, 136)

Location: Birmingham

Duration: 12 months

PAYE Direct Rates:

Monday - Friday | 1st 40 Hours | £20.53 per hour + £2.47 per hour holiday pay - £23.00 per hour total

Monday - Friday | Over 40 Hours | £25.88 per hour + £3.12 per hour - £29.00 per hour total

Saturday- £25.88 per hour + £3.12 per hour - £29.00 per hour total

Lodge Allowance | £60.00 per day

Hours: 55 Hours per week | Monday to Saturday

The Role:

Coded Welders required immediately for a fast paced project based in Birmingham constructing a bridge structure. All persons will be required to weld heavy structural steel plate, using 111, 121 & 136to complete the project.

Requirements:

• Experience in any of the following:
• 111 MMA Plate F / B
• 121 Submerged Arc
• 136 FCAW Plate F / B
• CSCS Card or CCNSG - Mandatory
• Confined Space Entry - Advantage
• Safety critical medical - Advantage
