Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for a 7.5 T Driver in Warwick for a temporary assignment. The role offers competitive pay of £15.69 per hour, minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift, Monday to Friday. Candidates should have a clean UK driving licence, valid CPC and Tachograph, with previous HGV experience preferred but not essential. Training will be provided, and the role is due to start in September.

Role

7.5 T Driver – Shifts and Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Start Time: 05:00 am
• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift

7.5 T Driver – Rates of Pay

• Monday to Friday – £15.69 inclusive of holiday pay

Responsibilities

• Work on a temporary 12-week assignment with our client based in Warwick.
• Occasional handball tasks, pushing trolleys, and multi-drop runs (up to 10 drops per shift).
• Complete vehicle checks and any required defects paperwork.
• On-site training provided; confident in performing duties and adhering to safety standards.

Additional details

• Role is due to start in September and run until Christmas.
• Handball and some multi-drop work may be required.
• Suitable for candidates with a clean full UK driving licence, valid CPC and Tachograph.
• Previous HGV experience is preferred but not essential.
• Applicants must be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Flexible and able to remain calm under pressure with strong customer service and communication skills.
