Job summary

V-Recruit is recruiting for a Delivery Driver / Yard Operative in the Rotherham S63 area. This is a full-time permanent role starting asap with a well-established family-run business in the roofing sector.

You will deliver roofing materials across Yorkshire, load vehicles each morning, unload deliveries, and keep the yard neat and safe. Requirements include a full UK driving licence with CPC, no more than 6 points and no disqualifications, plus previous relevant experience and references.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required with CPC card.
• No more than 6 points and no disqualifications on licence.
• Previous relevant yard/delivery experience with references would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver roofing materials to sites across Yorkshire using a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• Load company vehicles for site teams each morning.
• Unload deliveries and organise stock within the yard.
• Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
• Assist with general yard duties and support colleagues when required.

V-Recruit are looking to recruit 1x Delivery Driver / Yard Operative in the Rotherham S63 area on a full-time permanent basis, to start as soon as possible.

You will be working for a well-established family run business that specialise in the construction industry within the roofing sector.

Duties to include:

• Delivering roofing materials to sites across Yorkshire using a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• Loading company vehicles ready for site teams each morning.
• Unloading deliveries and organising stock within the yard.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
• Assisting with general yard duties and supporting colleagues where required.

Job specifics:

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8am to 5pm and 8am - 4pm Friday

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Full-time permanent opportunity

Requirements:

The right candidate will have their full UK driving licence, be over the age of 25 for insurance purposes and have no more than 6 points and no previous disqualifications on their licence.

You will need to have your CPC card and have previous relevant experience and be able to provide relevant references.
