Job summary

GAP Hire Solutions, part of GAP Group, is seeking a 7.5 tonne Service Driver in Manchester to load, deliver and collect hire equipment at customer sites. You may perform demonstrations and must complete all hire checks and administration accurately.

The role also covers servicing, cleaning and maintaining portable toilets and welfare units, with a focus on safe, timely operations. The ideal candidate has proven driving experience in a similar setting, follows road laws rigorously, and

Qualifications

• Significant experience in driving roles delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites.
• Category C1+E driving licence and Driver CPC with at least 35 hours completed.
• Experience in towing is an advantage but not essential.
• Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and ability to follow guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver and collect hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely, professional manner.
• Carry out hire equipment demonstrations on customer sites when required.
• Complete all checks and administration for hires accurately.
• Service, clean and maintain portable toilets and welfare units.
• Ensure safety practices are followed at all times.
