Job summary

Project Partners is recruiting a Lorry Driver Operative to support daily workload, delivering materials to and from sites and assisting on site with various duties. The role requires a valid UK driving licence and CPC, with a 1-in-4 call-out rota and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, muck away, and coordinating with site teams to meet delivery schedules. This is a full-time permanent position based in the Sussex area.

Qualifications

• Basic civils knowledge and safe material handling.
• Ability to load, secure and unload loads safely.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good time management to meet delivery schedules.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials safely and securely.
• Transport materials to and from site and maintain delivery records.
• Run muck away, transporting waste to disposal locations per regulations.
• Assist on site with duties and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Be available for call-out rota on a 1-in-4 basis.
• Follow health and safety protocols and wear PPE.
