Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Home Delivery Driver 7.5 Tonne in Ashton-Under-Lyne. This permanent, full-time role involves joining a two-person delivery crew to bring furniture and appliances to customers’ homes, with installation training provided.

You will be active, customer-facing, and focused on delivering high service standards while adhering to safety and driving regulations. Excellent teamwork and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid 7.5T (C1) Licence and Driver CPC Qualification.
• Experience in home delivery or installation is beneficial but not essential.
• Able to interact with customers and provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture and household goods directly to customers’ homes.
• Work as part of a two-person delivery team.
• Assist with installation of wet goods and appliances (training provided).
• Handle large items safely and professionally.
• Create a positive customer experience at every delivery.
