Job summary

Benson for Beds is recruiting experienced 7.5 tonne drivers for home delivery in the UK. You will deliver beds and furniture, assemble items in customer rooms, and provide a friendly, professional service to prioritise customer satisfaction.

Join a two-person delivery team, use a PDA for paperwork, and maintain high driving and vehicle standards. The role emphasizes customer care and safety while working Monday to Friday with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK Cat C1 driving licence with valid CPC DQ card or digital card.
• Previous commercial driving experience in a 7.5t vehicle.
• Experience using digital tachographs.
• Good people skills and customer-facing experience.
• Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture with manual handling.
• Know-how of EU driving legislation and tachograph law.
• Desirable experience using a PDA.
• Insurance requires age 21 or over.

Responsibilities

• Deliver beds, mattresses, and furniture to customer homes.
• Assemble items in the room of customer's choice.
