Job summary

Pertemps Maidstone is actively seeking a reliable 7.5T Driver for ongoing work in Aylesford, Kent. This temp role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, with immediate start and pay at £15.05 per hour (PAYE).

The position includes daily vehicle checks, timely deliveries, and customer-facing duties, with potential for permanent opportunity. You will hold a valid UK C1/7.5T licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, and bring prior 7.5T/Delivery driving experience.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a 7.5T vehicle and completing deliveries/collections.
• Valid UK C1/7.5T licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph card.
• Experience with delivery paperwork and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5T vehicle to complete deliveries and collections.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Follow planned routes and delivery schedules.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Comply with road transport and driver regulations.
