Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group is seeking a 7.5T/HGV Class 2 Driver for a Doncaster-based home delivery operation. Expect up to 9 drops per day with a Driver’s Mate provided, starting around 06:00 and a 40-hour week.

You will drive, load/unload, and carry out basic assembly work, while consistently delivering excellent customer service in a compliant, safety-focused role.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid 7.5T (C1) or HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Licence held for at least one year may be required for insurance.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5T or HGV Class 2 vehicle to customer addresses.
• Complete up to 9 drops per day and manage delivery paperwork.
• Load/unload goods and provide a room-of-choice delivery service.
• Provide professional customer service and follow road safety rules.
• Assist with some assembly work and carry out vehicle checks.

7.5T Driver / HGV Class 2 Driver - Doncaster

7.5T Driver / HGV Class 2 Driver wanted in Doncaster - maximum 9 drops per day, Drivers Mate provided and genuine temp-to-perm opportunity.

Frontline Recruitment National is looking for experienced 7.5T and HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy home delivery operation in Doncaster.

Working any 5 days from 7 with 06:00 starts and approximately 40 hours per week, you'll work alongside a Drivers Mate delivering directly to customers' homes.

This isn't high-volume multi-drop work. You'll complete no more than 9 drops per day, providing a professional room-of-choice delivery service and making sure every customer receives a great experience.

The role

• Driving a 7.5T or HGV Class 2 vehicle
• Maximum 9 drops per day
• Drivers Mate provided
• Home delivery and room-of-choice service
• Loading and unloading customer orders
• Some assembly work - full training provided
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Providing professional and friendly customer service
• Following all road safety and transport regulations

What we're looking for

• 7.5T (C1) or HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Licence held for at least one year due to insurance requirements
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with lifting and handling goods
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Previous 7.5T or HGV driving experience preferred
