Job description

Job Title: 7.5T Driver

We are currently seeking a 7.5T driver for our Croydon-based client. You will work with a driver’s mate delivering building materials throughout South London & South East. This highly customer-focused role involves keeping clients informed and meeting scheduled delivery times. The shift pattern is variable and includes some weekends at a higher rate.

Contract Details:

• Type: Temporary / ongoing
• Rate of Pay: £16.41 including holiday pay / £24.61 Overtime, and £32.81 on Sundays and Bank Holidays (PAYE)

Requirements for a 7.5T Driver:

• UK Category C1 licence
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Driver CPC Card
• No more than 6 points for minor offences
• Restrictions for insurance purposes may apply (please contact us for details)

What You Can Expect:

• Monday – Friday shifts (minimum 8 hours)
• Overtime after 8 hours and on Saturdays
• Double time on Sundays
• Weekly pay every Friday

This position is suitable for delivery drivers within commuting distance of Sutton, Coulsdon, Purley, Mitcham, Thornton Heath, and Wallington.
