Job description

Our client have an exciting opportunity for an experienced 7.5t Driver to work within their Transport department based at their Barnsley site. Nights out are a requirement of the role and are paid at GBP34 per night with all parking expenses are reimbursed. You will join them on a full-time, permanent basis working Monday to Friday, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP32,416 per annum.

You will not be required to work weekends or on bank holidays.

The 7.5t Driver role:

The role involves delivery of their rigid kitchen range nationwide in their modern fleet of delivery vehicles.

The key responsibilities of their 7.5t Driver will include:

• Delivering company product nationwide.
• Prepare the products in the vehicle for offload.
• Maintaining a high standard of work.
• Maintaining legal requirements.

To meet the requirements of our 7.5t Driver you must have:

• A full driving licence with the required vocational entitlement.
• A valid DCPC.
• Good verbal communication skills.

As our 7.5t Driver, you will be:

• Of smart appearance as the position is customer facing.
• Prepared to spend nights away from home on a regular basis.
• Able to lift average sized kitchen, bedroom and bathroom units.
• Willing to train within the transport department.
