Job summary

Manpower UK seeks a 7.5T Driver for a temporary, ongoing assignment based in Swindon (SN3 5TG). You will safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle on planned routes, transporting mail and parcels between distribution hubs and delivery points.

Reliable, professional drivers with a valid UK C1 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph Card are welcome. The role offers various shifts, regular work, and competitive hourly pay, with PPE provided and ongoing recruitment support.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• 2 years driving experience in logistics/distribution.
• No more than 5 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• Strong knowledge of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Load and unload vehicles and secure goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining communication with the operations team.
• Follow road transport laws and health and safety policies.
• Handle multiple drops per shift depending on route.
