Job Description: 7.5 Tonne Driver and Marquee Installer

A marquee company is seeking a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join their team, including labouring duties to assist with marquee hire for events such as weddings, parties, corporate days, festivals, and charity fundraisers.

The role involves installing marquee structures, including interior finishes, flooring, lighting, and heating, with opportunities for workers to become proficient in all areas.

The company prioritizes high-quality products, thorough workmanship, customer satisfaction, and a good-humoured team environment.

The company operates from two locations: Romford and Kingston upon Thames. Candidates should reside near either location and have access to their own vehicle to start and finish work at unsociable hours without relying on public transport. Most work is within the M25.

The position offers on-the-job training to become an experienced marquee rigger. Good teamwork is essential.

Requirements:

• A positive attitude towards work, colleagues, and clients
• Physical fitness
• Ability to work long days, including weekends, in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
• Reasonable English language skills

A valid 7.5T driver's license is required. Training support can be provided for suitable candidates with experience as a van driver.

Additional useful skills include basic carpentry and understanding of electrics, though these are not essential.
