Job Description: 7.5t Driver

We are seeking a professional 7.5t driver to deliver customers’ products to specified premises, ensuring exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. The driver will transport products safely, treating freight with care and adhering to all safety and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent DX professionally at all times
• Drive vehicles safely and legally, complying with all requirements
• Perform daily vehicle checks, report defects immediately, and complete necessary paperwork
• Use DX scanning equipment to scan all products
• Load deliveries safely prior to departure from the depot
• Follow DX procedures and policies consistently
• Manage routing to achieve premium and timed deliveries
• Maintain equipment and PPE in good condition and use them properly
• Report delivery and road issues promptly to the traffic office
• Ensure deliveries are received in excellent condition
• Handle customer issues politely and effectively
• Make collections according to instructions and schedule
• Hold a valid C1 or higher license, with DQC and Tacho card
• Have no more than 6 points on license and no bans
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build rapport with customers
