Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting for multiple 7.5T Driver roles in Swansea (SA5) for our internationally known client. Duties include deliveries, collections, and vehicle checks with manual handling. Shift patterns include Monday to Friday, occasional weekends, working hours 08:00–18:00.

Pay is £17.98 per hour PAYE with overtime at £23.43 per hour after 40 hours, including advanced holiday pay. A valid Tachograph and CPC are required, and at least 1 year of 7.5T experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Valid Tachograph and CPC qualifications included.
• At least 1 year experience with 7.5T roles.

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our internationally known client in Swansea (SA5). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics.

Drivers shifts and Pay:

• Monday to Friday - occasional weekends offered
• Hours of Work: 08:00 - approx 18:00
• £17.98/hr standard*
• £23.43/hr OT (after 40hrs)*Please note that this pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay

7.5T Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting vehicle checks
• Making deliveries/collections each day to customers and depots
• Manual handling is involved while loading and unloading
• Handling device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver requirements:

• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Good customer service skills
• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
• At least 1yr experience with 7.5T roles
